The 2009 season of Afternoon Teas has now ended. During the summer, the Afternoon Teas team offer refeshment and hospitality in the church hall each Tuesday from 1.00 pm during the summer and funds are raised for charities and the parish. Coffee Mornings are held on Wednesdays throughout the year. We are looking for someone to run the Afternoon Teas in 2010. If you can help, please contact the Rector. "We would like to thank all the parishioners, friends and visitors who have encouraged and supported us, especially those people who have served the parish in previous afternoon teas and coffee mornings. It was so good to see you enjoying the fellowship that is at the heart of Holy Trinity’s hospitality ministry. "We are hugely grateful to all our wonderful hardworking team and, to the people who made cakes and baked for us, we offer our sincere thanks. Our customers really appreciated these homemade cakes and were disappointed when their particular favourite had sold out. On our most busy weeks we did actually sell all our produce before closing time. "Please contact the Rector if you would like to join the team or if you can help with baking at home next season." N.B. Holy Trinity has its own "Pay & Display" car park which can be accessed in or out at the rear of the Church. It is available for use every day of the week, with Sunday mornings being reserved for those attending services and the "Pay & Display" operating from 1pm. |
